Embracing the Blank Spaces

This past week, I experienced genuine moments of clarity as I made my way through the madness of Times Square at the end of each day and at the street fair in our neighborhood. My son makes everything new again and spending time with him frees the stress-tightened locks in my chest so that I find myself staring into the blank spaces between the trees and the faces and the air and I remember being a little kid and not thinking of anything other than where I was on a particular day and being free.

I wish everyone an inspired weekend and peaceful contemplation.
